What is audi 3?

The Audi A3 is a compact executive car produced by the German car manufacturer Audi since 1996. The A3 was introduced in Europe in 1996 as a three-door hatchback, and later as a five-door version. In 2003, a sportback version was added to the A3 lineup, which was similar to the hatchback but with a longer roofline for more rear passenger headroom.

The latest generation of the Audi A3 was launched in 2020. The current model is available in two body styles: a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback. The A3 sedan is longer than its predecessor and has a sporty silhouette, while the A3 Sportback has a more practical design.

The A3 is known for its high-quality interior with premium materials and advanced technology features such as Audi Virtual Cockpit, which replaces traditional gauges with a 12.3-inch digital display. The latest model also comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and is available with a range of advanced driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking.

Under the hood, the A3 is powered by a range of gasoline and diesel engines, with outputs ranging from 110 to 245 horsepower. All A3s come standard with a seven-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, while Quattro all-wheel-drive is optional on certain models. The A3 is also available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines a 1.4-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor for a total output of 201 horsepower.
